Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Content Platform Subject Matter Expert to provide deep specialist knowledge across CMS, DXP, headless content, DAM, PIM and content migration to support consulting, solutioning and delivery.

You will guide platform architecture, define content models, lead migration assessments, and partner with architects and delivery teams to deliver scalable, secure content solutions for enterprise clients in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in content management, digital experience or content operations.
• 5+ years deep experience in an enterprise content platform or product family.
• Experience in enterprise implementation, migration or modernisation as SME/Architect/Lead.
• Strong understanding of content architecture, APIs, governance, performance and security.
• Experience supporting client workshops, proposals, demonstrations and technical presentations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain deep knowledge of primary content platform architecture, services, APIs, extensibility, deployment and operations.
• Define content models, taxonomy, metadata, workflow, governance and lifecycle patterns for multisite and multilingual scenarios.
• Lead platform-specific migration assessments with extraction, transformation, loading, validation and cutover planning.
• Act as SME across consulting, solutioning, architecture and delivery advisory, contributing to RFIs, RFPs and PoCs.
• Create reusable reference architectures, playbooks and accelerators and guide teams on complex configuration and migration.

About the role

As a Content Platform Subject Matter Expert, you will make an impact by providing deep specialist product knowledge across enterprise content technologies — including CMS, DXP, headless content, DAM, content supply chain, PIM and content migration — to support client consulting, solutioning, offering development and delivery assurance. You will be a valued member of the Cognizant Moment - Go To Market team and work collaboratively with the Enterprise Multi-Solution Architect, delivery teams and practitioners, and clients.

In this role, you will

• Maintain deep knowledge of your primary content platform — architecture, services, APIs, extensibility, deployment, security and operations — and translate editorial, publishing, asset and product-content needs into practical platform capabilities and implementation patterns.
• Define content models, taxonomy, metadata, workflow, governance and lifecycle patterns, and design multisite, multibrand, multilingual, authoring, publishing, search, SEO and accessibility approaches along with DAM, PIM, creative tooling and channel integrations.
• Lead platform-specific inventory, dependency, migration and modernisation assessments, defining extraction, transformation, loading, validation, reconciliation, redirect and cutover approaches with realistic estimates, assumptions and risks.
• Act as the assigned platform SME across consulting, solutioning, architecture and delivery advisory, partnering with the Enterprise Multi-Solution Architect while owning platform feasibility, patterns, estimates and implementation guidance, and contributing to RFIs, RFPs, proposals, demonstrations and proofs of concept.
• Create reusable reference architectures, playbooks, assessment frameworks and accelerators, guide delivery teams on complex configuration and migration decisions, and identify practical generative AI and agentic opportunities with appropriate security, privacy, governance and human oversight.

What you must have to be considered

• 10-15 years of overall experience in content management, digital experience or content operations.
• At least 5 years of deep experience in a nominated enterprise content platform or product family.
• Experience in enterprise implementation, migration or modernisation as an SME, Technical Architect or Technical Lead.
• Strong understanding of content architecture, APIs, integrations, governance, performance and security.
• Experience supporting client workshops, proposals, estimates, demonstrations and technical presentations, plus working knowledge of at least one adjacent or competing content platform.

These will help you succeed

• Hands-on specialisation in enterprise CMS/DXP platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, Optimizely or Acquia/Drupal, or in headless and composable CMS such as Contentful, Contentstack or Sanity.
• Experience with Digital Asset Management platforms such as AEM Assets, Sitecore Content Hub, Aprimo or Bynder, including asset lifecycle, metadata, rights and renditions.
• Experience with content supply chain platforms such as Adobe Workfront, Workfront Fusion or GenStudio across planning, intake, creation, review, approval and activation.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted migration and classification tooling for inventory, mapping, transformation and quality assurance.
• Ability to connect product capabilities with editorial and business outcomes, mentor practitioners, and contribute reusable offerings without claiming ownership of the overall multi-solution architecture.
