Job summary

Kuku is seeking a Content Producer with Kannada localization expertise to own the end-to-end localization and promotional pipeline for regional content. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller who understands Kannada audiences and can create engaging promos that drive reach.

You will oversee the localization workflow—from script adaptation to dubbing, voice casting, quality control, and final delivery—and develop original regional concepts for Kannada audiences.

Qualifications

• Native or professional proficiency in Kannada.
• 2-5 years of experience in digital media, OTT, content production, localization, publishing, or creative marketing.
• Strong storytelling skills with experience in creating high-performing promotional content.
• Experience managing localization and dubbing workflows, including quality control.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for regional content, digital storytelling, and audience-first content creation.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end localization of content into Kannada ensuring linguistic and cultural authenticity.
• Manage the complete localization workflow, including script adaptation, dubbing, voice casting, quality control, and final delivery.
• Conceptualize, script, and oversee the production of engaging promos and marketing creatives for localized content.
• QC all localized content and promotional assets to ensure consistency in language, tone, and quality.
• Coordinate with writers, translators, voice artists, editors, studios, agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
• Research audience trends and identify opportunities for new regional content.
• Develop and pitch original regional content ideas, formats, and IPs that can be produced for Kannada audiences.
• Work closely with Growth and Marketing teams to optimize promotional creatives based on performance insights.
