Job summary

Terralogic Software Solutions is seeking a Content Developer with 3-5 years of experience to create, manage, and maintain clear, user-focused technical documentation in a technology-driven environment.

You will develop knowledge base articles, SOPs, training materials, and ensure knowledge is organized in Confluence/SharePoint. Collaboration with SMEs across BizTech will ensure accuracy and usefulness of content, while maintaining ongoing improvements through feedback.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in technical writing or knowledge management in a technology-driven environment.
• Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and grammatically correct technical content for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency with Confluence and SharePoint.
• Experience using AI tools, analytics, or search behavior to improve knowledge content.

Responsibilities

• Create clear, concise technical documentation including knowledge base articles, FAQs, how-to guides, and troubleshooting steps; SOPs and training materials.
• Organize and maintain technical information within knowledge management systems for easy discoverability (e.g., Confluence).
• Regularly review, update, and retire documentation to keep content accurate and relevant; track ownership and review cycles.
• Partner with SMEs across BizTech and cross-functional teams to validate technical accuracy and audience relevance before publication.
• Design documentation that is user-focused, task-oriented, and accessible to users with varying technical knowledge; gather user feedback for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Creation

• Develop clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation, including:
• Knowledge base articles, FAQs, how-to guides, and troubleshooting steps.
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Training materials.
• Use AI tools and AI-assisted content development techniques to support research, drafting, editing, summarization, and the creation of accurate, user-focused technical content, with appropriate human review and validation.

2. Knowledge Management

• Organize and maintain technical information within knowledge management systems such as Confluence to ensure easy discoverability and accessibility.

3. Content Updates and Maintenance

• Regularly review, update, and retire documentation to keep content accurate, relevant, and aligned with current processes.
• Track content ownership, review cycles, and required updates.
• Identify content gaps, duplication, and opportunities for simplification.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) across BizTech and other cross-functional teams to gather information.
• Validate technical accuracy, process details, and audience relevance before publication.

5. User Experience and Continuous Improvement

• Understand the needs, roles, and use cases of target audiences.
• Design documentation that is intuitive, task-oriented, and effective for users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Gather and incorporate feedback from content users and stakeholders to continuously improve knowledge resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in technical writing, content development, or knowledge management roles in a technology-driven environment.
• Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and grammatically correct technical content for various audiences.
• Proficiency with common documentation tools and knowledge management platforms, such as Confluence and SharePoint.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycles and/or IT Service Management (ITSM) principles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience using AI tools, analytics, or search behavior to improve knowledge content.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
