Job summary

Gobabygo seeks a creative Video Editor & On-Camera Content Creator to shape our visual storytelling. You will edit high-quality videos and also front our content across social platforms, including reels and shorts.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging concepts, craft hooks, and deliver content on tight timelines while maintaining production quality and audience engagement.

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-camera face for videos, reels, and social content.
• Create engaging video content from concept to final production.
• Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube videos, short-form content and other digital videos.
• Handle editing, transitions, subtitles, effects, sound, colour correction, and overall quality.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative video concepts.
• Stay updated with social media trends to keep content relevant.
• Write or contribute basic scripts, hooks, and ideas when needed.
• Ensure timely delivery without compromising quality.
• Experiment with new editing styles and formats.

Position: Video Editor & On-Camera Content Creator

Experience: 3-8 Years

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and confident Video Editor & On-Camera Content Creator who can not only edit high-quality videos but also be the front face of our video content.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable appearing on camera, presenting ideas, speaking confidently, and engaging with the audience, while also having strong technical expertise in video editing.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the on-camera face for our videos, reels, and social media content.
• Create engaging and audience-friendly video content from concept to final production.
• Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube videos, promotional videos, short-form content, and other digital videos.
• Handle video editing, transitions, subtitles, effects, sound, colour correction, and overall video quality.
• Work closely with the content/marketing team to develop creative video concepts.
• Understand social media trends and create content that is engaging and relevant.
• Write or contribute to basic scripts, hooks, and video ideas when required.
• Ensure videos are delivered within timelines while maintaining high quality.
• Continuously experiment with new editing styles, formats, and creative approaches.

Required Skills

• Strong video editing skills with practical experience in professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
• Confident and presentable on camera.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to speak naturally and engage with an audience.
• Good understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media content trends.
• Knowledge of basic motion graphics, sound editing, colour grading, and visual effects.
• Creative mindset with a good sense of storytelling and visual presentation.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates who have experience appearing in videos, creating personal/social media content, hosting videos, or presenting in front of a camera will be preferred.
