Job summary

Zookout is a Mumbai-based startup that helps people discover great experiences and save while doing it. We’re seeking a Content Creator & Growth Associate to own Zookout’s voice on social media and drive momentum with Reels, Shorts and brand collaborations.

In this role you will visit venues around Mumbai, craft engaging content, and work with creators and brands. You’ll grow a community, test formats, and contribute to the growth strategy while building your portfolio at a fast-scaling startup.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years creating content for brands or your own channels.
• Strong hooks and storytelling for short-form video.
• Comfortable on camera and directing others when needed.
• Willing to meet strangers and shoot around Mumbai.
• Excellent English communication.

Zookout helps people discover great experiences around them and save while doing it. Now we need someone to give that story a voice, a personality and some serious momentum online.This isn’t a “post three times a week from a calendar” job. You’ll own how Zookout shows up on social media.

What Your Days Look Like

• Create: Reels, Shorts, stories and social-first content people want to watch, save and share.
• Experiment: Pitch hooks, test formats, start recurring series and find out what works.
• Explore: Go out into Mumbai, visit restaurants, cafés, salons and more, and find real stories worth telling.
• Host or direct: Be on camera, or bring other people in when that makes the story better. You don’t have to be in every video.
• Collaborate: Work with creators, customers, businesses and brands, and represent Zookout in external collaborations.
• Build community: Turn comments and DMs into conversations, and followers into a community.

• Create Reels , Shorts, stories and social-first content that people want to watch, save and share.
• Come up with scroll-stopping hooks, fresh formats and recurring series that make Zookout stand out.
• Explore Mumbai to find real stories, experiences, businesses and trends that can become content.
• Collaborate with creators, customers, restaurants, cafés, salons and brands on content and campaigns.
• Host videos as the face of Zookout, or direct others on camera when that tells the story better.
• Build engagement through comments, DMs and collabs, and grow a real community around Zookout.
• Represent Zookout in external brand collaborations and creator partnerships.
• Contribute ideas to Zookout’s content, community and growth strategy.

What We’re Looking For

• 0–3 years creating content for brands or for your own channels. Personal creator projects count.
• A strong sense of hooks, storytelling and what makes short-form video work.
• Comfortable on camera and/or directing others to create great content.
• Happy to meet strangers, visit outlets and shoot on the go around Mumbai.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• An ownership mindset: you take initiative and see ideas through.
• Experimental and original, with fresh perspectives and out-of-the-box ideas.
• An Instagram profile or portfolio that shows your work. No minimum follower count needed.
