Come for the mountains, stay for work that actually means something.There's a particular kind of tired that comes from a desk job you don't care about, and a completely different kind that comes from a day shooting content in golden hour light, closing a booking you worked hard for, or hosting a video you're genuinely proud of. We're looking for people who want the second kind.We run a Cottage, a growing property in Mukteshwar, and we're also working on a travel-based startup where we create and operate travel experiences across the Himalayas. We're looking for people who can bring their skills, ideas, and creativity to help us take this forward.

We’re building a small team of volunteers to help us get the right guests through our doors, tell our story well online, and contribute to our growing travel business.

This isn't a "come clean rooms and water plants" post. We're looking for people with real, usable skills who want to contribute, take responsibility, learn something new, and see their work making a difference.

What we’re looking for:

• Sales & Growth VolunteerSomeone comfortable talking to people on calls, WhatsApp, and email, who enjoys turning a "maybe" into a "yes, I’ll book."You'll follow up on inquiries from our website, Instagram, and OTA listings, connect with travel agents and past guests, work on repeat business, and help us create seasonal offers.
• Video Editor — CinematicSomeone who can take raw footage and turn it into something that makes people stop scrolling.You'll work with footage of the property, guests, food, mountains, travel experiences, and sunsets, creating reels for Instagram and YouTube, along with occasional longer videos.Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci — whatever you use is fine. We care about storytelling, pacing, hooks, and good taste.
• Travel Photographer & Videographer — On TripThe most active role, and probably the one that gets you the most stamps in your travel journal.You'll travel with our team and capture landscapes, guest moments, local culture, and behind-the-scenes stories from our trips. Drone shots are a plus.Early mornings, long days, real-world shooting — but your travel, food, and stay are fully covered during our trips. You'll also build a genuine travel portfolio.
• On-Camera Host — Content CreatorSomeone naturally comfortable and likeable in front of a camera.You'll be part of our travel content, presenting the property, talking about destinations, sharing local stories and tips, and creating simple "day in the life" content.We'll brainstorm the topics and talking points together. You bring your personality and energy.

Who we’re looking for:Someone comfortable in a simple, rural setting, interested in travel and hospitality, and able to commit at least a few weeks so you have enough time to settle in and do good work.

We’re looking for people who don't just want to "volunteer," but want to bring their skills, take ownership, and be part of what we’re building.
