Arpan, based in Mumbai, seeks a Content and Curriculum Lead to shape educational content across formats for children, parents, teachers, and institutions. You will drive pedagogic design, content publication, and digital expansion, aligning with national curricula and program insights.
The role requires 8–10 years in the social sector with curriculum design, strong writing, and cross-platform media skills. Mumbai-based work with impactful, scalable programs is offered.
Arpan is an award-winning non-profit working to end Child Sexual Abuse in India. Based in Mumbai with a team of more than 134 professionals, it is India's largest non-profit offering prevention and intervention services for both children and adults. Its Personal Safety Education work reaches children and adolescents aged 4 to 18, teaching them to recognise unsafe situations and ask for help, and it trains teachers and parents to respond well. Arpan also uses research and advocacy to push for policy change at local, state and national levels, and has reached over 19.4 million children and adults since 2007, earning 8 national and 2 international awards. This role sits within Arpan's content and curriculum function, which creates the learning material every one of those programmes is built on.
You will shape what Arpan teaches and how it is taught. The work covers pedagogic design, creation and publication of content for children, parents, teachers and institutions, across formats from printed books to digital media. Arpan is building its presence online, so this role carries the chance to take a proven classroom model into new digital spaces and into state and national curricula.
