Role Description The Consultant Teleradiologist will provide diagnostic interpretations of imaging studies, including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and other modalities, in accordance with established protocols and quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing studies via PACS, generating clear and concise reports, addressing STAT and routine cases within agreed turnaround times, and coordinating with referring clinicians to clarify clinical information when needed. The role involves adhering to evidence-based guidelines, maintaining accurate documentation, and participating in quality assurance processes such as peer review and discrepancy audits. This is a contract, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring regular presence at the designated facility and close collaboration with the local radiology and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic radiology skills with proficiency in interpreting common modalities (e.g., X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound) and experience with teleradiology workflows.
• Ability to work with PACS/RIS systems, digital image viewing tools, and secure electronic reporting platforms.
• Commitment to high-quality reporting, attention to detail, and adherence to established turnaround times for routine and STAT cases.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with referring physicians and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DNB/FRCR or equivalent), with valid medical registration and licensing as required.
• Prior experience in teleradiology or hospital-based diagnostic radiology is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in an on-site, contract capacity in Bengaluru, with flexibility for shift-based or off-hours coverage as needed.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and continuous professional development.
