Job summary

NTT DATA Business Solutions is actively seeking a SAP PP specialist to support and implement SAP PP solutions, coordinating production support, and managing user testing through ServiceNow tickets. You will work on Make to Stock and discrete/process manufacturing processes, including IDOC interfaces and PPDS.

The role requires strong configuration skills in SPRO, deep PP process understanding, and experience with data migration using BDC/LSMW/BAPI. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have experience of implementation and support of SAP PP.
• Good experience in production support with resolving user issues and coordinating user testing activities. Experience in working with ticketing tools like Service Now and handling change requests.
• Must have worked in AMS support projects and Production support with stringent SLAs.
• Expertise in Make to stock and order manufacturing strategies in discrete and / or process industries.
• Expertise in PP business processes like PP master data, planning, execution, confirmation, interfaces, IDOCS and production reports. Knowledge of PPDS will be advantage.
• A very good understanding of business requirements according to business user requirement specification documents
• Strong experience of design build and configuring PP applications to meet business processes and requirements
• Experience in configuration of PP modules as per business requirements in SPRO.
• Should be able to implement and propose solutions by understanding current business process functionalities
• Document functional design, test cases and results.
• Good experience in Process, Discrete and repetitive manufacturing is a must.
• Complete understanding of SOP, Flexible planning, capacity planning, Variant configuration, batch management and Engineering change management.
• Ability to handle integration with third party interfaces like MES systems by IDOC monitoring.
• Desirable to have a good knowledge of digital manufacturing of shop floor and production execution areas.
• Experienced in data migration and data uploads using BDCs, LSMWs, BAPI and workflows.
• Strong cross module knowledge in MM, QM, EWM, FICO and SD.
• To ensure Quality & Documentation of the projects as per the Client ‘s requirements (Procedures).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work as a team player in a consulting environment.
