Job summary

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate in SAP PP within Advisory, Bengaluru. The role covers configuration, deployment, and support across SAP PP projects, with collaboration across MM, QM, SD, WM/EWM, and MES.

You will translate business needs into functional specs and guide data migration and testing activities. The candidate should have 4–7 years of experience, a relevant degree, and be proficient in SAP PP with exposure to PP/QM interfaces and integration.

Qualifications

• SAP PP (Production Planning) experience required.
• 4–7 years of experience as a minimum.
• Education: Any Graduate/BE/B.Tech/MBA/MCA.
• Experience working on SAP PP/QM solutions and PP/MM integration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP PP configuration, customization, and deployment across implementations, rollouts, and support projects.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for SAP PP solutions.
• Collaborate with MM, QM, SD, WM/EWM, and MES to ensure seamless process integration.
• Support data migration, master data setup, and validation.
• Conduct system testing (Unit, SIT, UAT) and post-go-live support.
• Provide guidance to business users and develop enhancements, reports, and interfaces (RICEF).
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing.

**Responsibilities:

• Lead and support SAP PP configuration, customization, and deployment activities across implementation, rollout, and support projects.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and SAP PP solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including MM, QM, SD, WM/EWM, and MES to ensure seamless business process integration.
• Support data migration activities, master data setup, and validation during project implementations.
• Conduct system testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and post-go-live support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring adherence to SLA commitments.
• Provide functional expertise and guidance to business users during project execution and support phases.
• Coordinate with technical teams to develop enhancements, reports, interfaces, and forms (RICEF objects).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process optimization opportunities and recommending best practices.
• Participate in stakeholder discussions and provide regular project status updates to leadership and business teams.
• Ensure compliance with project governance, documentation standards, and quality processes.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the competency.

Mandatory skill sets:

• To work on roll outs and project implementation of Bunge PP/QM solution.
• To develop PP processes in the new organization.
• To extend PP specific interfaces running in SAP Landscape to other entities
• Work on MES interface with SAP.

Preferred skill sets:

• To conduct workshops with business PP/QM specific processes to identify FITGAPs
• To design E2E solution for business process identified in the organization.
• To implement PP/MM integration, MES interface.
• Creation of PDDs, FDS/TDS for GAPs identified.
• Able to create training documents for end users and conduct trainings for them.
• Identification of organization change management activities.
• Create and keep up-to-date a Process Design Document (PDD)
• Create a technical document for all technical settings and keep it up-to date and complete.
• Evaluate the Reporting/ KPI needs from business and define new requirements.
