Job summary

YASH Technologies, Inc. is hiring SAP ABAP Developers for Pune and Bangalore locations. The role requires 2-4 years of hands-on SAP ABAP experience and strong skills in core ABAP, CDS views, and OData services.

You will design, build and optimize SAP solutions using ABAP, CDS, and SAP Gateway for Fiori/UI5 apps. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or CS is expected. Join a growing SAP practice and collaborate with functional, Fiori and Basis teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong knowledge of core ABAP: Reports, ALV, Module Pool, Function Modules, BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs and Smart Forms/Adobe Forms.
• Hands-on experience with CDS views: basic, composite and consumption views, annotations and associations.
• Experience developing and debugging OData services (SEGW, CRUD operations, deep entities, $expand/$filter).
• OOABAP experience and knowledge of performance tuning tools (ST05, SAT, Code Inspector).
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain ABAP programs including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows (RICEFW).
• Design and build CDS views for analytics and transactional apps.
• Develop and expose OData services for SAP Fiori/UI5 apps.
• Implement enhancements using BAdIs, user exits, enhancement points and implicit/explicit enhancements.
• Write performance-optimized ABAP code following best practices.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into technical designs.

You ll design, build and improve SAP solutions using modern ABAP, OData services and Core Data Services (CDS). This role suits someone with strong technical basics, good analytical thinking and clear communication. Key Responsibilities Develop, test and maintain ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows (RICEFW). Design and build CDS views , including annotations, associations and access controls (DCL), for analytics and transactional apps. Develop and expose OData services using SAP Gateway (SEGW) and/or CDS-based publishing for SAP Fiori/UI5 apps. Implement enhancements using BAdIs, user exits, enhancement points and implicit/explicit enhancements. Write efficient, performance-optimized code following SAP best practices and coding standards. Analyse business requirements and turn functional specifications into technical designs. Debug, troubleshoot and fix production issues within agreed SLAs. Take part in code reviews, unit testing and documentation. Work with functional, Fiori and Basis teams across the full project lifecycle. Required Skills & Qualifications 2-4 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with clients and cross-functional teams. Bachelor s degree in engineering, Computer Science or a related field. Good to Have Exposure to S/4HANA and ABAP on HANA (AMDP, new Open SQL syntax). Knowledge of the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) . Basic understanding of SAP Fiori/UI5 . Exposure to ABAP Cloud. Understanding of functional modules such as SD, MM, FI .
