Mployee.me in Pune/Bangalore is seeking an SAP ABAP Developer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience to design, build and optimize SAP solutions using modern ABAP, CDS views and OData services. You will work with cross-functional teams across Fiori/UI5, SAP Gateway and ECC to translate business needs into robust technical designs and deliverables.

You should have strong core ABAP skills (reports, ALV, IDocs, BAPIs), OOABAP, and performance tuning familiarity (ST05, Code Inspector).

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong knowledge of core ABAP: Reports, ALV, Module Pool, Function Modules, BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs and Smart Forms/Adobe Forms.
• Hands-on experience with CDS views: basic, composite and consumption views, annotations and associations.
• Hands-on experience developing and debugging OData services (SEGW, CRUD operations, deep entities, $expand/$filter).
• OOABAP experience and familiarity with performance tuning tools (ST05, SAT, Code Inspector).
• Excellent communication skills with clients and cross-functional teams.

• Debug, troubleshoot and fix production issues within agreed SLAs.
• Take part in code reviews, unit testing and documentation.
• Work with functional, Fiori and Basis teams across the full project lifecycle.

About the Role

We re looking for skilled SAP ABAP Developers to join our growing SAP practice. You ll design, build and improve SAP solutions using modern ABAP, OData services and Core Data Services (CDS). This role suits someone with strong technical basics, good analytical thinking and clear communication.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor s degree in engineering, Computer Science or a related field.

Good to Have

• Exposure to S/4HANA and ABAP on HANA (AMDP, new Open SQL syntax).
• Knowledge of the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Basic understanding of SAP Fiori/UI5.
• Exposure to ABAP Cloud.
• Understanding of functional modules such as SD, MM, FI .
