Summary:
This position leads and manages the administration, documentation, and operations of the sales incentive programs, policies, and procedures. It is responsible for processing commissions quarterly and accurately reporting sales professionals' and managers' results, along with analysis of compensation calculations by plan.
Essential Functions:
- Analyze and verify booking entry credit for each opportunity from sales to apply against each sales professional's and manager's signed compensation plan.
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of commissions monthly for all sales professionals, managers, and others as assigned.
- Act as the key point of contact for sales reps and managers, communicating sales plan details and their impact.
- Manage sales compensation operations, including documentation, communication materials, incentive calculations, payment approvals, record keeping, and system functionality for calculations.
- Prepare sales performance reports for management to analyze cost of sales, quota attainment, pipeline activity, and Salesforce.com data.
- Build strong relationships with sales team members and management to ensure commissions are paid per plan; interpret plans and resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate with sales management on policies and respond to information requests.
- Provide monthly detailed commission payments for recording in the general ledger.
- Order, cancel, and manage specific information for operations team members.
- Coordinate with financial analysts on commission accrual reporting and data transfers.
- Facilitate booking acknowledgments and commission payments across business entities, coordinating with payroll for payments.
- Create dashboards to clearly present sales compensation data.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education Requirements:
- Graduation or Post Graduation in Finance.
Experience Requirements:
- 6+ years of directly related experience.
- Well-versed in sales compensation plans, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Understanding of finance, accounting, and forecasting.
Other Qualifications, Skills & Certifications:
- Proficiency in MS tools like Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint, Access.
- Strong reporting experience with Callidus Commission System.
- Preferably techno-functional expertise.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SAP, and Salesforce (SFDC).
- High integrity and strong business ethics.
- Well-organized, self-starter, able to work independently and in teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Fluency in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Note: This role requires work from the office at Manyata Embassy Business Park.
Shift Timings: 2 PM – 11 PM
