Job summary

Medico Hub in Siliguri, West Bengal, seeks an experienced Consultant – Retina Surgeon to conduct OPD consultations, diagnose retinal disorders, and perform vitreoretinal surgeries. The role includes pre/post-operative care and coordinated patient management.

The ideal candidate will have 1–5 years of relevant experience, strong diagnostic skills, and excellent patient communication. This is a Full-Time Consultant position based in Siliguri with negotiable remuneration depending on expertise.

Qualifications

• MS / DNB / DO in Ophthalmology is required.
• Fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery is preferred.
• Valid Medical Council Registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ophthalmology OPD consultations and retinal evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage retinal disorders, including diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment and macular diseases.
• Perform vitreoretinal surgical procedures as per expertise.
• Manage retinal emergencies and provide appropriate treatment.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups.
• Interpret retinal imaging and investigations, including OCT and fundus imaging.
• Coordinate with other ophthalmology specialists for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure high standards of patient care.
