Job summary

Eye Mantra in Delhi NCR seeks a Retina Consultant to join our Retina Services team. The role requires strong diagnostic and surgical expertise in retinal disorders and a commitment to delivering comprehensive, empathetic patient care.

You will perform vitrectomy, retinal detachment repair, intravitreal injections, and laser treatments using OCT, FFA, B-scan, and fundus photography. MS/MD/DNB Ophthalmology with Retina fellowship and a valid medical license are essential.

Qualifications

• MS/MD/DNB in Ophthalmology is required.
• Fellowship in Medical or Surgical Retina is required.
• Valid medical license as per local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage retinal diseases (diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachment).
• Perform surgical procedures (vitrectomy, retinal detachment repair, intravitreal injections, laser treatments).
• Use OCT, FFA, B-scan, and fundus photography for evaluations.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Retina Consultant to join our Retina Services team. The ideal candidate should have strong diagnostic and surgical expertise in managing retinal disorders and a commitment to delivering comprehensive and empathetic patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage retinal diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration , retinal detachment, etc.
• Perform surgical procedures including vitrectomy, retinal detachment repair, intravitreal injections , and retinal laser treatments.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools like OCT, FFA, B-scan, and fundus photography for clinical evaluations.
• Collaborate with general ophthalmologists and sub-specialists for holistic patient management.
• Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of clinical cases and patient records.
• Participate in departmental meetings, case discussions, and ongoing medical education programs.
• Provide patient education on preventive care, treatment options, and post-operative follow-up.

Qualifications:

• MS/MD/DNB in Ophthalmology
• Fellowship in Medical and/or Surgical Retina from a recognized institute
• Valid medical license (as per local/state regulatory requirements)
