Job summary

Quislex Legal Services is seeking a QA Analyst- Consultant in India to join our testing team. You will evaluate business needs to select appropriate manual and automation testing techniques, and gain deep insight into the application and its requirements.

The role requires developing Selenium test scripts, maintaining automation resources, executing regression suites, and reporting outcomes to managers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in manual testing; automation with Selenium is a plus.
• Experience in designing test automation frameworks.
• Strong skills in Python, Java, C#, SQL, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience creating test scripts and RTMs.
• Good understanding of API or web services testing.
• Self-starter with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Determine testing techniques based on business needs using manual and automation testing.
• Review application, requirements, and components to guide testing.
• Execute regression suites and report results to developers, PMs, and stakeholders.
• Develop new Selenium test scripts and review test reports and summaries.
• Lead selenium testing discussions with managers and project leads.
• Prepare weekly and daily status reports and maintain automation resources.
• Design and implement automated testing frameworks and maintain element locators.

QA Analyst- Consultant

Responsibilities

• Examining the business needs to determine the testing technique by manual and automation testing.
• Having a good insight into the application, business requirements, and its components.
• Testers execute regression suites for better results. Must provide results to developers, project managers, stakeholders, and manual testers.
• As a Selenium automation tester must develop new test scripts, review test reports, and test summary reports.
• The selenium tester is responsible for all meetings with Managers and leads regarding the project.
• Must send the weekly and daily status reports.
• Design and implementation of automation framework.
• Setting up selenium test environment using Python, Java, .Net, selenium web driver, JUnit and TestNG.
• The selenium tester must create test cases with selenium web driver commands and element locators and also inspect elements.
• The selenium tester must also maintain automation resources.
• Once the test is executed, the suites highlight the bugs and faults. The tester must resolve the bugs and assign the new issues to the developer team.
• Strong knowledge in bug life cycle and STLC

Technical Skills

• Any graduate with 2-3 years of Experience in manual testing. Automation testing using selenium will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Test Automation framework designing.
• Result oriented understanding and skills in languages like Python, RPA, Power Apps, C#, Java, .NET, XML, SQL, CSS, and HTML.
• Experience in Creating test scripts
• Experience in creating RTM
• Experience in selenium web drivers, In-depth programming language is essential for selenium testers working with QTP or UFT.
• Extraordinary skills in manual testing
• Understanding business requirements
• Knowledge of API or web services linked to the system and its use.
• A good understanding of functions and features after the application goes live.
• Self-starter, dynamic, able to work independently. Strong interpersonal skills
