Job summary

Network Techlab India Limited is seeking a dynamic Consultant - Presales (Consulting Practices) to work with sales and delivery teams in designing technology solutions aligned with customer objectives. You will conduct technical discussions, prepare proposals, and support the complete presales lifecycle.

The role requires strong enterprise IT infrastructure knowledge, solution architecture, and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of Presales, Solution Consulting, or IT Infrastructure Consulting experience.
• Experience with SI/VAR or IT infrastructure services is preferred.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand business challenges and IT requirements.
• Lead requirement gathering, workshops, and technical discovery sessions.
• Design end-to-end solutions across infra, cloud, security, and data center domains.
• Prepare architecture docs, BOMs, SOWs, and commercial support materials.
• Develop proposals and respond to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs.
• Deliver technical presentations, demos, and POCs.
• Collaborate with OEMs and partners for solution validation and pricing.
• Support sales during presentations and negotiations.
• Coordinate with delivery teams for project transitions post-order.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Consultant - Presales (Consulting Practices) to work closely with the sales and delivery teams in designing technology solutions that align with customer business objectives. The role involves understanding customer requirements, conducting technical discussions, preparing solution proposals, delivering presentations, participating in solution architecture, and supporting the complete presales lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their business challenges, technical requirements, and IT infrastructure.


• Conduct customer meetings, requirement-gathering workshops, and technical discovery sessions.


• Design end-to-end technology solutions across Infrastructure, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Networking, Data Center, Digital Workplace, Backup, Disaster Recovery, Virtualization, and Managed Services.


• Prepare technical solution documents, architecture diagrams, Bills of Materials (BOM), Statements of Work (SOW), and commercial support.


• Develop compelling technical proposals and respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.


• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, proof of concepts (POCs), and solution workshops.


• Work closely with OEMs, distributors, and technology partners for solution validation and pricing.


• Support the sales team during customer presentations, negotiations, and technical discussions.


• Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure smooth project transition after order closure.


• Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive offerings.


• Contribute to practice development by creating reusable solution templates, case studies, and best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Enterprise IT Infrastructure and Solution Architecture.


• Knowledge of Data Center, Compute, Storage, Virtualization, Networking, Cloud Platforms, Cybersecurity, Backup & DR solutions.


• Experience in solution sizing, architecture design, and technical documentation.


• Hands-on experience in preparing BOM, SOW, HLD, LLD, and technical proposals.


• Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Customer-centric approach with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
