Flexing It is seeking a Consultant - PMO to lead end-to-end delivery for S4o9 transformations across AMEA. The role emphasizes governance, risk management and cross-functional coordination to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery.

The candidate will work with SAP DevOps, manage regional SOWs and drive milestone-driven execution in a complex, multi-phase program in a global FMCG context.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Establish and run a structured program governance using MDS TGM methodology.
• Develop Integrated Master Project plan in MS Project and JIRA with critical path mapping.
• Represent project performance in BU/regional S4o9 governance forums.
• Identify and manage risks, maintain risk tracking in JIRA and communicate with stakeholders.
• Coordinate plans with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure on-time delivery.
• Drive overall project delivery, including tollgates and milestones within plan timelines.
• Collaborate with SAP DevOps to facilitate information flow to the project team.
• Track scope changes and support regional SOWs/POs/invoices to avoid delivery delays.
• Coordinate end-to-end lifecycle: budgets, timelines, QA, testing, cutover and readiness, ensuring go-live readiness.
• Mentor project managers to build organizational capability.

Job description

Our client, a global FMCG firm, is looking for a Consultant - PMO, who will be responsible for end-to-end delivery management of S4o9 deployment in the Asia, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) region. The role requires extensive experience in managing and delivering complex, global, multi-phase SAP enterprise engagements using standard project management tools, skills and methodologies following Agile and Hybrid-Agile.

The role will cover deployment of o9 and S4 migration projects for AMEA. This role combines advanced project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with appropriate knowledge of enterprise applications, functionality and solutions to ensure the successful delivery of high-impact, high-value projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Establishes and runs a well-structured program management governance and drive consistency and quality in project execution using MDS TGM methodology
• Develops and manages an Integrated Master Project plan on MS Project and JIRA - the plan should clearly map out critical path deliverables and cross-workstream dependencies
• Represent Project performance in the BU/regional S4o9 governance forums
• Being proactive in identifying and managing risks and what is coming down; and communicating with key stakeholders in a productive and engaging manner is critical to the success - Owns Risk tracking and reporting through JIRA
• Coordinate and align plans and deliverables with cross-functional teams, engaging with internal and external partners to ensure successful program delivery
• Responsible for driving overall project delivery – including meeting of all project tollgates/milestones within set timelines (as per project plan)
• Work closely with the SAP DevOps team and act as a key point of contact for facilitating information to and from the DevOps team to the Project Team
• Tracks and reports on scope change control and facilitates KDD development and presentations at Regional Alignment Forums
• Partner with MDS Test Management, including test strategy, requirements traceability matrix, and test scripts for unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, User acceptance testing, and performance testing
• Supports Regional PMO lead for tracking execution of regional SOW's, PO's, Invoices etc. ensuring no risk on delivery timelines
• Coordinates end to end project delivery lifecycles supporting budgets, timelines, build quality, testing, cut over planning and operational readiness, including confirming the completion and consistency of all project deliverables and confirms readiness to go live
• Coach and mentor project managers from other teams to build capability in the organization
• Provide guidance and steer to project team members in understanding expected outcomes of the project deliverables

How you will contribute:

• Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end project delivery for AMEA BUs within S4o9 transformation program, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between Regional S4o9 (functional and MDS) Delivery teams, Global S4o9 workstreams and partner teams, ensuring clear communication driving decisions and requirements.
• Team Management: Proven ability in building effective teams across internal and external partners
• Reporting: Establish and maintain governance frameworks and reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency and accountability on project deliverables throughout the S4o9 transformation process.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the transformation project, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Change Management: Skill in managing and leading change initiatives within an organization.
• Strategic Thinking: Strategic mindset with the ability to align projects with organizational goals and adapt to evolving priorities.
