Job summary

Armanino India LLP is seeking a detail-oriented GL Payroll Accountant to manage US GAAP payroll accounting and reconciliations for US and Canadian resorts. You will post to D365, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and prepare audit schedules in a collaborative, globally integrated environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for GL payroll accounting in accordance with US GAAP.
• Ensure D365 GL payroll postings are complete and accurate for US and Canadian resorts.
• Prepare monthly US/Canada balance sheet reconciliations and upload to OneStream.
• Prepare adjusting journal entries to align GL accounts with support.
• Investigate reconciling items and discrepancies; implement process improvements.
• Perform variance analysis with Payroll and HRIS teams.
• Communicate payroll accounting issues with the GL team.
• Develop understanding of recurring and non-recurring payroll transactions.
• Prepare payroll audit schedules and assist auditors during annual audit.
• Other duties as assigned.

This open position is for Armanino India LLP. Armanino India LLP is a fully owned subsidiary of Armanino (USA).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for GL payroll accounting in accordance with US GAAP.
• Ensure D365 GL payroll postings are complete and accurate for all US and Canadian resorts.

• Prepare adjusting journal entries to align GL accounts with the appropriate support.
• Investigate reconciling items and discrepancies; implement process improvements as necessary.
• Perform variance analysis through investigation and assistance of the Payroll and HRIS teams.
• Communicate payroll accounting issues effectively with the GL accounting team.
• Develop an understanding of the industry to include recurring and non-recurring payroll transactions.
• Preparepayroll auditschedules and assist auditors as necessarywith annual audit.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 4-year degree required; Accounting or Finance
• Relevant experience within a large corporate GL shared accounting services team is preferred
• Knowledge of GAAP and GL accounting month-end close processes
• Proficient with large ERP systems including D365, OneStream and Workday
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experienceworkingwith a diverse team of people
• Success at building relationships and collaborating cross-functionally across the organization

• Proven ability resolve accounting issues and recommend process improvements
