Job summary

Eye Mantra is seeking a Consultant Ophthalmologist specializing in Cataract and Vitreoretinal diseases to deliver advanced surgical and clinical care at our Super Specialty Center.

The role focuses on high-volume cataract surgeries with premium IOLs, retina treatments, and urgent ocular care. Candidates should have ophthalmology qualification with retina/cataract subspecialization and 2+ years surgical experience.

Qualifications

• MS/MD/DNB in Ophthalmology with Subspecialty Fellowship in Retina or Cataract.
• 2+ years of surgical experience in Phacoemulsification and Medical/Surgical Retina.
• Valid Medical Council Registration.

Responsibilities

• Perform retinal imaging (OCT, FFA) and pre-operative cataract assessments.
• Execute high-volume Phacoemulsification, premium IOL implants, intravitreal injections and retinal lasers/vitrectomies.
• Manage diabetic retinopathy, AMD, retinal detachments and acute ocular emergencies.

Requirements:

• MS / MD / DNB in Ophthalmology along with a Subspecialty Fellowship in Retina/Cataract.
