Job summary

Vitality Healthcare in Vadodara, Gujarat is seeking an oncopathologist with MD/DNB fellowship in histopathology. The role focuses on learning and applying SOPs, techniques, and QC procedures in the department.

You will be responsible for histopathology/cytopathology case reporting and validation, maintain tight turnaround times, resolve test queries, participate in trainings, and uphold quality control and external proficiency systems.

Qualifications

• MD/DNB with fellowship in histopathology or DM in oncopathology is required.
• Knowledge of IQC/EQC and QC procedures is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Learn and have complete knowledge of SOPs, documents and instruments in your department.
• Learn the techniques in the department.
• Learn, implement and document the departmental Quality control procedures (IQC/EQC).
• Responsible for Histopathology Cytopathology case reporting and validation of test reports.
• Maintain strict control over the turnaround time (TAT) for all tests reported.
• Help resolve queries pertaining to tests in your department.
• Participate in training sessions organized by the organization from time to time.
• Strictly monitor Quality control and external Assurance / Proficiency systems.
• Maintain discipline in the office.
• Company may assign you other duties deemed appropriate.
