Job summary

Neuberg Diagnostics in Mumbai is seeking a Consultant Pathologist to manage day-to-day lab activities and oversee technical departments. You will certify and report cases, extend signatory responsibility, and ensure NABL/CAP quality compliance.

Immediate joiner preferred with MD or DNB in Pathology and at least 3 years of relevant experience. You will work at the Vidyavihar location, lead lab staff training, handle doctor queries, and maintain high standards of accuracy in reporting.

Qualifications

• MD or DNB in Pathology is required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in pathology.
• Experience in Biochemistry, Hematology and Immunology reporting and report validation is preferred.
• Willingness to work at the Vidyavihar location.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory reporting, result interpretation and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities at the lab and other technical departments.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Interact with doctors/consultants on report queries and feedback.
• Manage and train lab staff on a regular basis.
• Certify and report all lab cases.
• Ensure NABL and CAP quality system compliance.
• Being an authorized signatory, verify all lab reports and be prepared for extended hours in exigencies.

Role & responsibilities

3. 3. Handle Feedback from Doctors and Consultants and interaction with them on report queries.
4. 4. Manage and train the Lab Staff on a regular basis.
5. 5. Certify and report all cases in the lab.
6. 6. Take care of Quality system and Quality Assurance program of the lab as per the NABL and CAP standards.
7. 7. Being an authorized signatory and verify all lab reports, you may be required to extend your working hours in case of exigencies.
8. 8. You are eligible for 12 days leave in a calendar year.
