Job summary

Guardian is seeking a seasoned QA Lead to drive automation and quality across multiple software projects. You will lead a distributed team of QA engineers, mentor testers, and collaborate with product, development, and operations teams to deliver reliable, scalable software.

The role emphasizes test strategy, automation framework development, CI/CD integration, and performance/ security validation in an Agile environment.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and manage a team of QA Engineers and Automation Testers.
• Define QA processes, standards, and best practices across projects.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers to ensure quality deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA organization.

Test Strategy & Planning

• Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and quality assurance roadmaps.
• Estimate testing effort, resource requirements, and project timelines.
• Identify testing risks and mitigation plans.
• Ensure test coverage across functional, integration, regression, API, performance, and end-to-end testing.

Automation Testing

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
• Drive automation adoption across projects and increase automation coverage.
• Review and optimize automated test scripts for reliability and maintainability.
• Establish automation standards and coding best practices.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Quality Assurance & Execution

• Review test cases, test scripts, and defect reports.
• Monitor test execution and provide status reports to stakeholders.
• Manage defect triage and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Validate application functionality, performance, security, and usability requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production defects and quality issues.

DevOps & Continuous Testing

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement continuous testing practices.
• Integrate automation suites with tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Support release management and deployment validation activities.
• Define and track quality metrics and KPIs.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Automation Testing using tools such as:

• Experience in API testing using:
