Breakthrough is seeking a motivated Consultant – High Net Worth Individuals Acquisition to build a robust donor pipeline and convert high‑value prospects. The role focuses on identifying, reaching out to, and converting potential donors while aiding long-term donor relationships.

The consultant will work closely with the Senior Manager – IFR, performing donor research, outreach via cold calling, LinkedIn, and email, and maintaining donor data in MS Excel.

Qualifications

  • Graduate with 2–4 years of experience in sales, business development, fundraising, or client acquisition.
  • Strong interest in fundraising / social impact / relationship-building roles.
  • Good communication and persuasion skills.
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and lead generation.
  • Ability to build rapport and handle donor conversations confidently.
  • Decent proficiency in MS Office.

Job description

Breakthrough is seeking a driven and ambitious Consultant – High Net Worth Individuals Acquisition to support the growth of our Individual Fundraising (IFR) program by building a pipeline of high-value individual donors.

This role will focus on identifying, reaching out to, and converting potential donors in the high-value segment, while building strong foundations for long-term donor relationships. The position will work closely with the Senior Manager – IFR and contribute directly to expanding Breakthrough’s high-value donor base.

The detailed role and responsibilities are mentioned below:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Donor research & pipeline building
  • Identify and research potential high-value donors through networks, digital platforms, and referrals
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective donors
  • Reach out to potential donors via cold calling, LinkedIn, email, and referrals
  • Secure meetings and introductions for donor conversion
  • Donor acquisition & conversion
  • Support and participate in donor meetings and presentations
  • Pitch Breakthrough’s work effectively to convert prospects into donors
  • Network building
  • Leverage personal and professional networks to generate new donor leads
  • Explore communities such as entrepreneurs, professionals, and social groups
  • Work closely with internal teams (communications, programs) for donor materials and proposals
  • Maintain donor data and track progress in MS Excel
  • Performance tracking
  • Meet monthly and quarterly acquisition targets (donor numbers and revenue)
  • Track outreach efforts, conversions, and pipeline movement
Specific Knowledge, Skill & Experience Required:

1) Graduate with 2–4 years of experience in sales, business development, fundraising, or client acquisition

2) Strong interest in fundraising / social impact / relationship-building roles

3) Good communication and persuasion skills

4) Comfortable with cold outreach and lead generation

5) Ability to build rapport and handle donor conversations confidently

6) Decent proficiency in MS Office

7) Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive

Tenure: This consultancy role requires full time availability effective from 1st July 2026 to 31st December 2026.
