About India Partner Network (IPN)
IPN is a tech‑enabled platform incubated by Sattva Consulting to make institutional capacity building more accessible to small and mid‑sized NGOs in India. Since its launch in August 2023, IPN has grown into an ecosystem of 4,000+ NGOs, 6,000+ users, and a growing network of partners and service providers. IPN supports NGOs through knowledge resources, capacity building events, assessments, service provider discovery and ecosystem connections. IPN is now transitioning into an independent Section 8 entity, ReadyNext IPN Foundation.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Growth Communications Lead (Consultant) to turn IPN’s platform, products, insights and ecosystem work into a strong market‑facing narrative and brand strategy. This role sits at the intersection of building brand, product marketing, platform adoption and ecosystem orchestration storytelling, all driven by platform data and user insights.
What you will own
Platform Product Brand and Narrative
- Shape IPN’s communication and positioning, building clear, credible messaging around IPN’s role in enabling NGO institutional readiness.
- Translate complex capacity‑building concepts into simple, accessible language.
- Create communication frameworks for different audiences (NGOs, partners, donors).
- Support website copy, decks, concept notes, blogs, newsletters and leadership communication.
Campaigns and Platform Adoption
- Design and execute campaigns for IPN’s key products ( Events, Assessments, Directory, Resources, Organisation Profiles).
- Build communication journeys across email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Develop segmented communication for NGOs based on interests, maturity, geography, language, behaviour or capacity building needs.
- Develop a distribution strategy that optimizes engagement across channels and partners.
- Work closely with platform products, donors and partnerships teams to convert IPN’s offerings into clear campaign propositions.
Content and Thought Leadership
- Create high‑quality content across formats: social media posts, emails, blogs, case stories, website copy, newsletters, decks and campaign assets.
- Build IPN’s voice as a trusted connector and capacity‑building platform for NGOs.
- Package insights from events, assessments, platform data, user feedback and partner work into compelling content.
- Develop 3–5 strong evidence stories each quarter demonstrating IPN’s value to NGOs and the larger ecosystem.
- Support donor and partner storytelling where needed.
- Collaborate with Sattva and other IPN partners to produce thought‑leadership pieces.
Partner and Ecosystem Amplification
- Work with IPN ecosystem partners to amplify campaigns and reach.
- Support communication for partner‑led initiatives.
- Identify relevant opportunities for PR, newsletters, panels and sector conversations.
- Create communication toolkits and standard messaging that partners can use to promote IPN offerings.
Performance and Learning
- Track basic campaign and content performance across channels.
- Monitor metrics such as registrations, click‑throughs, engagement, activation, repeat participation and content‑to‑action conversion.
- Use data from email, social media, website and platform behaviour to improve campaigns.
- Create monthly learning notes on what is working, what is not and what should change.
- Build repeatable communication playbooks with the IPN product team.
- Align IPN content reposting with Sattva Marketing and IPN strategic partner editorial calendar.
- Establish shared performance metrics and learning loops for cross‑entity optimisation.
What success will look like
In the first 3‑6 months
- IPN has sharper messaging for key products.
- Campaigns run consistently across email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and website.
- At least 2–3 campaigns show measurable improvement in registration, activation, repeat engagement or post‑event action.
- The team has a stronger, seamless content communication system.
In 12 months
- Communication contributes meaningfully to platform activation, adoption, partner engagement and overall IPN credibility.
- IPN has recognizable visibility and voice in the nonprofit capacity‑building ecosystem.
- Core IPN products have repeatable campaign playbooks.
- NGO and partner communication is more segmented and action‑oriented.
- IPN has a strong growing bank of success and failure stories, data insights and evidence for donors, partners and stakeholders.
Who we are looking for
Must‑Haves
- Minimum 5‑6 years of experience in communications, content marketing, branding, growth marketing for digital products and platforms.
- Proactive learner comfortable using technology and quickly building fluency in IPN’s platform, products, features and user needs.
- Strong writing ability across social media, email, website, blogs, reports and campaign copy.
- Ability to simplify complex ideas for non‑expert audiences.
- Experience running marketing campaigns across at least two channels such as email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Instagram.
- Experience conducting A/B testing on platform pages and ad creative to improve conversion rates.
- Comfort with basic communication and campaign analytics/metrics tracking.
- Proficiency with core communication, content and management tools such as Mailchimp, Canva, and AI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT).
- Ability to work in ambiguity with a lean team and evolving priorities.
- Strong ownership, execution discipline and attention to detail.
Good‑to‑Haves
- Prior experience in digital product marketing, nonprofit ecosystem, B2B marketing or social impact communication.
- Experience working with NGOs, service providers, funders or ecosystem intermediaries.
- Familiarity with analytics, data and publishing tools such as Amplitude, Snowflake, Figma, PowerBI, Buffer, Hootsuite, Loom.
- Experience with SEO, AI search optimisation, website analytics, email marketing and content performance tracking.
- Ability to work in Hindi or other Indian languages for regional outreach.
- Experience coordinating with freelancers, designers, agencies or external content creators and supporting PR communication.
- Interest in working with impact organisations and contributing to broader social impact.
