Job summary

Worldline in Pune, India is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead ITSM module development and integrations. You will design, code, and review solutions, mentor juniors, and ensure governance and best practices across projects.

The role requires 5+ years of ServiceNow experience, ITIL Foundations, and proficiency with workflows, portals, and REST/SOAP integrations. Join a global payments technology leader and shape scalable, upgrade-safe platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ ServiceNow experience; ITSM modules incl. Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Asset, Service Portal, Agent Workspace.
• ITIL Foundations Certification; ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
• Expertise with workflows, flow designer, catalog items, Business Rules, Inbound email actions, script includes.
• Experience with REST/SOAP web services and custom integrations.
• Portal development with custom web components in Service Portal; CSS, AngularJS, Node.js, Bootstrap.
• Experience with ATF, IntegrationsHub, Spokes, and App Engine Studio.
• Ability to synthesize design information and architect scalable solutions.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate new ServiceNow apps; personalize workflows and automate processes.
• Maintain and support existing developments; perform design reviews and mitigate risks.

• Mentor juniors, conduct code reviews, and lead knowledge transfer sessions.
• Enforce development standards, governance, and security/compliance practices.
• Lead integration architectures; monitor quality, SLA/KPI, and project health.

Long Description

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders as well as technical and analytical counterparts to define constraints and develop requirements and concept of operations documentations
• Develop and implement new ServiceNow applications and integrations from initiation to completion, to the customer requirements. Develop workflows and scripts to personalize existing ServiceNow applications and automate and improve business processes
• As a ServiceNow Senior Developer, Maintain and support existing developments. Provide conceptual design, prototype, and test cycles appropriate to chosen technical solution. You will be responsible for Design, code and test Reviews, identify technical risks and develop mitigations strategies
• Design quality features and propose how the applications and solutions should evolve in the future.
• Ability to lead a team, monitor performance, people, SLA/KPI on weekly frequency.
• Reporting project health on monthly frequency local and global. Should poses good presentation skills and crisp and clear communication.
• Define and enforce ServiceNow development standards, governance, and best practices (naming conventions, update set strategy, code quality, security compliance)
• Design and implement scalable and upgrade-safe solutions, ensuring minimal technical debt and alignment with ServiceNow platform guidelines
• Design and implement robust integration architectures (event‑driven, async patterns, retry mechanisms, error handling frameworks)
• Mentor junior developers and conduct regular code reviews and knowledge transfer sessions
• Define and maintain technical documentation, HLD/LLD

Who Are We Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience with ServiceNow, developing core ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Asset, Notify, Asset Management, Service Portal, Agent Workspace
• ITIL Foundations Certification. ServiceNow certified Application Developer
• Expertise with workflows, flow designer, catalog items, Business Rules, Inbound email actions, script includes.
• Experience with web service integrations (REST, SOAP), creation of custom web services, Mid Server configuration
• Experience with portal development, including creation of custom web components in Service Portal [CSS, Angular JS, node.JS, Bootstrap Transformation MAP, Scheduler, Connections with other database/instances, Web Services
• Exposure to testing frameworks (ATF – Automated Test Framework)
• Experience with IntegrationHub, Spokes
• Hands-on experience with Scoped Applications and App Engine Studio
• Ability to synthesize solution design information, architectural principles, available technologies, third‑party products, and industry standards to formulate a system architecture that meets client requirements and can be delivered within the desired timeframe
• Can do attitude, thinking out of the box and being open for new technologies and solutions.
• Fluent English, written and spoken
