Job summary

InOpTra Digital seeks a senior Fire Protection Engineer in India with 12–20 years of experience to lead design and review of data center fire protection systems. You will specialize in clean-agent suppression, VESDA detection, pre-action systems, and EPO sequencing while ensuring NFPA compliance and strong interfaces with BMS, DCIM, and HVAC.

The role requires hands-on hydraulic calculations, system analysis, and development of room strategies for mission-critical facilities.

Qualifications

• Senior Fire Protection Engineer with extensive experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Expertise in clean agent suppression, VESDA detection, pre-action systems, and EPO sequencing.
• Strong NFPA knowledge and ability to interface Fire Alarm with BMS/DCIM/HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Design clean-agent fire suppression systems for data centers and critical environments.
• Design VESDA / Aspirating Smoke Detection systems for high-sensitivity protection.
• Design double-interlock pre-action sprinkler systems to mitigate risk.
• Develop gas-tight room and enclosure strategies for critical facilities.
• Design fire alarm interfaces and ensure integration with BMS, DCIM, and HVAC controls.
• Develop Emergency Power Off (EPO) sequences and ensure fail-safe operation.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and system analyses to meet standards.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 75, 76, and 2001.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
