Job summary

Child Rights and You (CRY) invites a dedicated Project Coordinator to oversee intervention activities, ensure timely deliverables, and build capacity of CAC teachers and mobilisers in community development.

The role focuses on establishing linkages with government stakeholders, coordinating field activities, monitoring beneficiary data, and advocating for policy changes. You will spend substantial time in the field, coordinating with regional agencies and CSO partners to deliver outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Min 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in community development, child rights, education, or related development programmes.
  • Experience in managing community development or child rights projects.
  • Experience in working with government departments, local governance institutions, CSOs, and community-based organizations.
  • Experience in project planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting
  • Experience in data management, beneficiary tracking, and evidence-based advocacy.
  • Experience in donor reporting, documentation, and field-based programme management

Responsibilities

  • Overall coordination of the project intervention to ensure timely deliverable.
  • Building capacity of CAC teacher and Mobiliser and Improve volunteers engagement in community development.
  • Identify and build capacity of the Change agents within the community and motivate them to work towards bringing social transformation in the reference community.
  • Developing linkages between community and system for increased accessibility of services.
  • Establish linkages with Govt. stakeholders to increase participation of reference community in the local governance structure.
  • Analysing the data of beneficiary collected by project staffs and develop plan of intervention.
  • Contributes to the analysis and periodic updating of issues affecting children in the locality area.
  • Ensure evidence collection from the field level intervention and advocate with relevant stakeholders to bring policy level changes in favour of the reference community.
  • Facilitate community and children in the process of admission of children in hostel facilities and linkages with social security schemes.
  • Responsible for the planning, daily management, and implementation of project deliverables.
  • Serve as the frontline person that stimulates action, liaises with the regional agencies, provincial government and CSO partners and facilitates the delivery of project initiatives in the assigned area/s Coordinates with the other stakeholders and the Operations to ensure the delivery of outputs according to plan in the area(s) of assignment.
  • Facilitate the planning sessions, capacity building and field based system engagement activities
  • To monitor project activities through field visit. More and more time should be spent at field level.
  • To establish proper flow of information and maintain proper communication.
  • Community need assessment should be done at a regular basis and sharing with CRY Coordinator.
  • To verify all field level expenses by checking nature of expenditure.
  • Responsible for the timely submission to the CRY Coordinator of well-prepared project updates and reports that may be required in the areas of project
  • Collect case stories from Community mobilisers and share it with CRY Coordinator on monthly basis
  • Maintain data of other consultants

Preferred candidate profile :
