Job summary

Armanino in Hyderabad, India is looking for a detail-oriented Cash Accountant to analyze, reconcile and research bank and credit card transactions, ensuring accurate cash flow records and timely reporting.

You will support the month-end close, prepare reconciliations for cash, payroll, and related balance sheet accounts, and collaborate with finance teams to streamline cash management processes and improve controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• Accounting experience is preferred.
• Experience with complex bank reconciliations is preferred.
• Experience using general ledger software, such as D365, is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (VLookup, Sumif).
• Organized and able to follow through and respond timely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, reconcile and research bank accounts and credit card transactions.

• Research and resolve issues related to reconciliations, escalate as needed.

• Communicate non-routine cash transactions and variances to stakeholders.
• Assist with ongoing effort to streamline cash management.

Responsibilities

• Cash Accounting responsibilities include analyzing, reconciling and researchingbank accounts and credit card transactions
• Ensure a complete and accurate month-end close process within established deadlines of the company
• Prepare periodic balance sheet account reconciliations including cash accounts, credit card accounts, payroll, and lodging accounts in accordance with company standards
• Research and resolve issues related to account reconciliations and outstanding issues by contacting the appropriate individuals to gather information, escalating matters appropriately, and proposing and implementing solutions
• Highlight and explain non-routine cash transactions and significant variances to Financedepartment management
• Understand the flow of information through the banking, payroll, and general ledger systems
• Understand and communicate non-routine cash transactions and significant variances to stakeholders
• Assist with the ongoing effort to streamline the cash management process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
