Job summary

Medoralink in India seeks an experienced anesthesiologist to lead anesthesia care for complex surgeries across general, orthopedic, gynecological, and ENT. You will conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and tailor plans using ASA classifications.

The role focuses on intraoperative monitoring, hemodynamic stability, and postoperative recovery, with emphasis on pain control, safety standards, and collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and intensivists.

Qualifications

• Medical degree in anesthesia or equivalent.
• MD/ DNB/ DA with ACLS certification.
• Experience in teaching hospitals preferred.
• Published anesthesia research advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead anesthesia care for high-acuity surgeries.
• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and risk stratification.
• Manage intraoperative monitoring and ACLS protocols.
• Oversee post-anesthesia recovery and pain control.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and intensivists.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead anesthesia care for complex, high-acuity surgical cases across general, orthopedic, gynecological, and ENT specialties.
• Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations, risk stratify patients, and tailor anesthetic plans using ASA classifications.
• Manage intraoperative monitoring, hemodynamic stability, and emergency resuscitation including ACLS protocols.
• Oversee post-anesthesia recovery, manage pain control, and mitigate complications like PONV or respiratory depression.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and intensivists to optimize patient flow and perioperative safety standards.
• Participate in departmental audits, quality reviews, and continuous improvement of anesthesia pathways.
