Application Support / Middleware Administrator (Senior)

SEEBURGER India Private Limited – A consultant-level role focused on providing application support and system administration for SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite (BIS). The position ensures high performance, availability, and scalability of the enterprise integration infrastructure in a global environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support for SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite, including classic product support, operational, and monitoring duties.
• Utilise TCP/IP, LDAP/LDAPS, SSL/TLS, and other internet protocols for troubleshooting and configuration.
• Support L1, L2, and L3 production issues for SEEBURGER BIS and other integration products such as Sterling, TIBCO, Software AG, Axway, and Dell Boomi.
• Maintain backup, recovery, multi‑node clustering, high‑availability, and performance‑tuning for the infrastructure.
• Generate certificates, configure password policies, PGP encryption, and SSH keys.
• Perform application maintenance and stability activities.
• Apply advanced LDAP concepts and support enterprise LDAP deployments.
• Resolve production issues, conduct root‑cause analysis, and manage problem tickets.
• Analyze logs for user activity and system performance.
• Monitor BIS dashboards and participate in change management processes.
• Resolve troubleshooting issues in globally distributed systems, independently or with third‑level support.
• Improve SEEBURGER solutions in partnership with customers through problem management.
• Assist with software updates, system analysis, and service‑environment projects.
• Manage trading partner information (TPM) and keep updated on EDI and internet technologies.
• Support common EDI X12 transactions, mapping, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Handle data‑quality issues, adapter and connectivity problems.
• Communicate clearly and timely with customers, partners, and users.
• Participate in incident and request management and conduct routine system reviews.
• Support and mentor junior colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience with SEEBURGER BIS suites.
• Experience with B2B/MFT/API/ESB solutions (TIBCO, Software AG, IBM, Axway, Mulesoft, CA, Apigee, Dell Boomi, Oracle).
• Strong knowledge of JSON, XML (SEPA, SWIFT, ISO20022), EDIFACT, X12, TRADACOMS, and other message standards.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency with UNIX, Linux, and Windows platforms and shell/perl/java scripting.
• Knowledge of networking, server operating systems, and application servers.
• Experience in escalation, data‑center, and database management (DB2, Oracle, SQL, Sybase).
• Familiarity with monitoring and B2B tools (HPSM, JIRA, Remedy, SNOW).
• Experience with SOAP, REST, BPEL, BPMN, XSLT, WSDL and associated tools (SoapUI, Jenkins, Ant, Maven).
• Understanding of SOA, EAI, and middleware technologies such as WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, Apache, IIS.
• Experience with high‑availability, performance testing, continuous integration/deployment.
• Certifications in security, cloud, or agile development.
• Strong communication, customer‑focus, ethics, and professional conduct.
• Self‑motivation, ability to work under pressure, and adaptability to new technologies.
• Experience at enabling EDI standards, mapping, integration methods, and procedures.
