The need for integration is continuously growing. As a SEEBURGER Application Support/The Middleware Administrator (Senior), you will be self‑motivated and technically proficient in SEEBURGER administration and configuration of servers and clients, including effective troubleshooting. The position focuses on providing BIS administration and support to ensure extraordinary customer service, with overall responsibility for performance, availability and scalability of the infrastructure. You will care for and further develop customer installations, help build solutions for new large customers, and gain deep expertise in SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite while working in a global, customer‑focused organization.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Excellent understanding of internet protocols TCP/IP, LDAP/LDAPS, SSL/TLS, and related security practices.
- Knowledge of L1, L2 and L3 level production support and technical issue resolution for SEEBURGER BIS suite or other integration products such as Sterling, TIBCO, Software AG, Axway, Dell Boomi.
- Ensure successful technical operations of the enterprise Managed File Transfer & EDI platforms.
- Provide technical consulting and advisory services; install, configure, and deploy SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite solutions.
- Experience in maintenance, backup and recovery models, multi‑node active clustering and high availability, and performance tuning.
- Generate certificates, set up password encryption, configure multi‑tier password policies, PGP encryption and SSH keys.
- Proficiency in application maintenance and stability.
- Knowledge of advanced LDAP concepts and enterprise LDAP deployments.
- Assist in production issue resolution and root cause analysis.
- Strong infrastructure knowledge and problem‑management skills.
- Review logs for user activity.
- Experience in BIS monitoring and dashboards.
- Experience in change management processes.
- Troubleshoot issues in globally distributed systems.
- Solve support cases independently via remote support and, if needed, with 3rd‑level support.
- Improve SEEBURGER solutions through problem management alongside customers.
- Assist customers with software updates, system analysis and projects in the service environment.
- Knowledge on TPM (Trading Partner Management).
- Review systems periodically for betterment and identify room for improvement.
- Stay updated on EDI and internet‑field technological developments.
- Be well‑versed with common EDI X12 transactions, mapping, end‑to‑end testing, practices and procedures.
- Solve data‑quality, adapter and connectivity issues.
- Analytical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with customers, partners and users.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Seeburger BIS suites.
- Experience with B2B/MFT/API/ESB solutions such as TIBCO, Software AG, IBM, Axway, Mulesoft, CA, Apigee, Dell Boomi, Oracle.
- Solid understanding of JSON, XML, CAD, SEPA, SWIFT, ISO20022, EDIFACT, X12, TRADACOMS.
- Experience with industry‑specific business processes and related message/file formats.
- Experience on cloud providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Proficiency with UNIX, LINUX and Windows platforms; experienced with shell, Perl, Java scripting.
- IT knowledge of networks, servers and application servers.
- Escalation management and data‑center issue handling.
- Database systems proficiency (DB2, Oracle, SQL, Sybase).
- Monitoring solutions knowledge.
- Network connectivity and communication protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP, OFTP, MQ).
- XML and EDI (ANSI X12 / EDIFACT) expertise.
- Experience with Rosetta‑Net and ebXML standards.
- Java and/or REST API experience.
- Ability to write technical specifications.
- Knowledge of HPSM, JIRA, Remedy, SNOW, Putty, WinSCP, Filezilla.
- Experience with WebServices, XSLT, WSDL, SOAP, REST, BPEL, BPMN, JDeveloper, SoapUI, Jenkins, Ant, Maven.
- Understanding of SOA and EAI architecture.
- Experience with high‑availability, performance testing and tuning.
- Fundamentals in CI/CD and build/monitoring tools.
- Certifications in security, cloud and agile development.
- Incident management experience.
