Job summary

Atos in Chennai, India seeks an experienced Mainframe developer to design, test, and maintain COBOL-based applications. You will work with JCL, IMS DC/IMS DB, DB2, and z/OS in a fast-paced Agile environment, collaborating with onsite teams and business users.

Responsibilities include performance tuning, handling production incidents, batch processing, scheduling with CA-7/Endevor, and code reviews. Prior exposure to modernizing mainframe systems and API integration is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in IBM mainframe technologies and hands-on COBOL/JCL/IMS DB/DC.
• Proficiency with CICS, VSAM and MQ in z/OS environments.
• Familiarity with batch processing, job scheduling and mainframe tooling.
• Exposure to API integration and mainframe modernization is a plus.
