Job summary

Virtusa is seeking Backend Engineers with 5–7 years of experience to lead backend capabilities for complex platforms. You will design and implement robust microservices, build RESTful APIs, and ensure secure, scalable data access using SQL/NoSQL databases.

Proficiency in Cloud (GCP), containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines is essential. You will collaborate in an Agile environment, write OOP-driven code, and contribute to architecture decisions, including HLDs/LLDs and testing

Qualifications

• Proven backend developer with 5–7 years of experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Hands-on with SQL databases and NoSQL like MongoDB/Redis.

Backend Engineers Technical Skills

( 5 to 7 Years Experience ); 1 Tech Lead.

• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java
• Hands-on experience with frameworks like Spring Boot, DropWizard.
• Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL

MySQL/PostgreSQL; NoSQL MongoDB, Redis).

• Experience with building RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms ( GCP) and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

Supporting knowledge of Android and iOS developmentenvironments and API integration.

• Methodologies
