Comviva is seeking a skilled Java backend developer to design, implement, and optimize scalable microservices using Spring Boot. You will build secure REST APIs, participate in architecture discussions, and ensure high-quality, well-tested code across the stack.

Required experience includes Java 17/21, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, Kafka/Redis, Docker/Kubernetes, and AWS services. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and emphasis on quality and security are key.

Formación

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in Java 17/21 and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Solid understanding of Spring Framework, Microservices Architecture, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT.
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate/JPA and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Working knowledge of Kafka and Redis.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to AWS services such as EKS, RDS, S3, and IAM.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of software design principles, debugging, and problem-solving.

• Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools including OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Loki.
• Exposure to RabbitMQ, Terraform, and Helm.
• Understanding of multithreading, concurrency, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Familiarity with application security concepts, OWASP standards, and code quality tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, or SCA.
• Experience in cloud-native or distributed systems environments.
• Exposure to Fintech, Payments, Transaction Processing, or Payment Gateway integrations.
• Knowledge of Active-Active/DR architectures and high-availability systems.
• Experience with Magento, Shopify, or WordPress plugin development will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
