Job summary

PMC Power Generation is seeking a Construction Tracker / Site Tracker to monitor field construction activities, track progress, verify readiness, and ensure timely closure of NCRs and punch-lists. You will interface with construction, quality, engineering, and contractor teams to maintain site readiness.

The role requires oversight of interfaces among civil, mechanical, electrical, infrastructure, and commissioning activities, with focus on safety and adherence to project requirements.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in construction supervision or progress tracking.
• ,Experience in Power Generation, Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, or Industrial Projects.
• PMC, EPC, or Owner's Engineer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections to verify construction progress and quality.
• Track and monitor construction activities against schedules and work plans.
• Verify work front readiness: drawings, materials, equipment, permits, access and manpower.
• Identify and report site constraints and interface issues affecting progress.
• Coordinate interfaces between civil, mechanical, electrical, infrastructure and commissioning.
• Maintain NCR, observation, and punch-list registers; follow up for closure.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly construction progress reports and dashboards.
• Highlight risks, delays, and unresolved issues requiring management intervention.

Job Purpose

The Construction Tracker is responsible for monitoring field construction activities, tracking work progress, verifying work front readiness, and ensuring timely closure of NCRs and punch-list items. The role serves as a key interface between construction, quality, engineering, and contractor teams to maintain construction progress and site readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections to verify construction progress, work quality, and compliance with project requirements.
• Track and monitor construction activities against approved schedules and work plans.
• Verify work front readiness, including availability of drawings, materials, equipment, permits, access, and manpower.
• Identify and report site constraints, interface issues, and construction bottlenecks affecting project progress.
• Coordinate and verify interfaces between civil, mechanical, electrical, infrastructure, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain and update NCR, observation, and punch-list registers.
• Follow up contractors and stakeholders for timely closure of NCRs, punch-list items, and corrective actions.
• Monitor completion of outstanding works and track recovery actions for delayed activities.
• Support construction managers in monitoring productivity and site performance.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly construction progress reports and tracking dashboards.
• Participate in walkdowns, readiness assessments, and construction completion inspections.
• Highlight critical risks, delays, and unresolved issues requiring management intervention.
• Ensure compliance with site HSE requirements during monitoring and inspection activities.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, procurement, and construction teams to support uninterrupted project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical).

Experience

• Experience in Power Generation, Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, or Industrial Projects.
