Job summary

Randstad in Kochi (India) is seeking a Construction Supervisor with a Diploma/B.E in Civil Engineering to oversee civil works at the site, including excavation, concreting, masonry, shuttering and reinforcement. You will monitor progress of pumping stations and pipelines, ensure drawings and specs are followed, and maintain daily site records.

You will assist engineers with inspections, quality checks and measurements, coordinate with contractors and vendors, manage materials to minimize waste,

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.E. in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil works at site including excavation, concreting, masonry, shuttering, and reinforcement.
• Monitor daily progress of ELSR, GLSR, pumping station, and pipeline construction/repair works.
• Ensure execution of works as per drawings, technical specifications, and engineers instructions.
• Maintain site records such as material receipts, labour deployment, and daily progress reports.
• Assist engineers in conducting inspections, quality checks, and measurements.
• Coordinate with contractors, labour teams, and vendors for smooth execution of works.
• Ensure proper usage of materials, minimize wastage, and maintain site discipline.
• Implement and monitor safety measures at site.
• Report issues, deviations, or site constraints to the Engineer in a timely manner.
• Support in preparation of contractor bills and measurement sheets
