Job summary

Vrinda International seeks an experienced Confluent Kafka Developer to lead real-time data processing initiatives. You will work with Kafka brokers, Connect, and Schema Registry, and leverage Flink for streaming solutions. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Confluent Kafka in critical/24x7 applications.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka Brokers, ZooKeeper, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry & Flink.
• Strong experience in writing Apache Flink code for real-time use cases.
• Experience handling complex/non-structured data including Nested JSON & Avro.
• Good experience with AWS Cloud, especially S3, Lambda & RDS.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management, problem management & RCA skills.
• Ability to document Kafka best practices, standards and provide technical guidance to teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain real-time data processing pipelines using Confluent Kafka and Flink.
• Work with Kafka ecosystem components: Brokers, Connect, Schema Registry, and ZooKeeper.
• Handle nested JSON and Avro data formats in streaming applications.
• Design and document Kafka best practices and provide technical guidance to teams.
• Troubleshoot incidents and perform RCA; ensure high availability of streaming services.
• Collaborate with cloud engineers on AWS (S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Experience with large-scale Kafka deployments and understanding of streaming architectures.
