Job summary

Mindpool Technologies is seeking an experienced Java/Kafka professional to design, develop, test and deploy features across our PAN INDIA projects. You will work on REST APIs, message streaming with Kafka and SQL/ relational DBs while ensuring quality and scalable solutions.

The role requires 8–10 years of IT experience with at least 4+ years in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and API development. Experience with AWS services and GitHub workflows is a plus, and you will participate in agile ceremonies

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of IT experience with strong Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, REST API and SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS and AWS knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of AWS Aurora is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Understand feature stories and implement them with unit and integration testing.
• Support production deployment and validation, participate in agile ceremonies.
• Optimize DB queries and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Must have Experience Required

• Minimum 4+ years in Kafka, Java, Spring boot.
• Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in Kafka, Java, Spring boot, SQL Development

Roles & Responsibilities

• Understand the Feature/user story, perform analysis to implement the user story, coding, unit testing, integration testing, System test support, Support production deployment and production validation, participate in all agile ceremonies (Program increment planning, Sprint planning, Daily stand up, retrospective)

Descriptions

• Should have good knowledge and work experience in Kafka, Java, Spring boot, API development, SQL and any relational Database management system
• Knowledge and recent work experience in Kafka, Java, Spring boot, SQL is mandatory
• Having knowledge of AWS Aurora DB is an added advantage.
• Should have hands on experience in using GITHUB
• Having knowledge or exposure to AWS (S3, Lambda, EC2, EMR) is mandatory.
• Good knowledge and work experience in Agile execution.
• Should have good analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge and experience in P&C insurance will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to Python/PySpark, Apache Flink will be an added advantage.
• Experience in DB Query optimization.
