Job summary

Cendyn is seeking a Configuration Specialist to collaborate with Customer Delivery, Project Managers, and Development teams to implement solutions and prepare subscriptions for activation.

The role requires installing, testing, and troubleshooting products and integrations, with a focus on SQL-driven analysis and documentation. Hybrid work with in-office 2 days at Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or IT required.
• 3+ years in a technical operations or product development environment.
• Understanding of relational databases, Windows services, XML data formats, and data integration.

Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Configuration Specialist will work with the Customer Delivery team, Project Managers, the Development team, and other internal stakeholders to understand customer business requirements and implement Cendyn solutions successfully. The Configuration Specialist will install and troubleshoot Cendyn products and integrations and will contribute to solution design and documentation. The Configuration Specialist will work closely with other members of the Customer Delivery team to prepare customer subscriptions for activation.

Job Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

1. Install, test, and troubleshoot Cendyn products and integrations
2. Complete delivery tasks and projects for both external and internal customers.
3. Communicate with customers, vendors, and other external contacts as needed to assure customer success
4. Serve as a subject matter expert in the relevant product domains.
5. Research and solve data- and software-related problems
6. Provide escalation support for the Customer Support team, addressing issues directly or engaging additional escalation assistance when needed
7. Develop and maintain strong SQL query and process analysis skills.
8. Contribute to process and product design and documentation
9. Work with project managers to establish project timelines, and attend meeting with external and internal customers as needed

Requirements:

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a technical operations or product development environment.
• Understanding of relational databases, MS Windows services, XML file formats, data integration methodologies
• Experience working in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Education and Experience

1. Experience with Agile backlog management tools, such as Target Process (preferred), Confluence, Jira or VersionOne.
2. Technical capabilities with hands-on experience in development, coding, or database work (Specifically Python, SQL and JavaScript).

Work Timings:

This is a full-time position. Candidate will be expected to work from 6PM to 3AM work schedule. This role will be working in Hybrid Mode and will require at least 2 days’ work from office at Hyderabad. Occasional evening and weekend work may be expected in case of job-related emergencies or client needs.
