Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end configuration activities for Supply Planning implementations and enhancements.
• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and technical configurations within the platform.
• Configure supply planning models, planning parameters, workflows, and business rules.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver optimized planning solutions.
• Support planning processes including supply balancing, inventory, capacity and constraint-based planning.
• Perform system configuration validation, testing, and deployment support.
• Mentor junior consultants and guide team members on configuration best practices.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Configuration Lead Supply Planning with overall 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning and at least 3+ years of hands-on expertise in the platform. The candidate will be responsible for leading configuration activities, driving solution design discussions, and delivering scalable supply planning solutions aligned with business requirements.

The ideal candidate should possess strong functional knowledge in supply planning processes and hands-on experience configuring and supporting planning solutions in the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end configuration activities for Supply Planning implementations and enhancements.
• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and technical configurations within the platform.
• Configure supply planning models, planning parameters, workflows, and business rules.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and integration teams to deliver optimized planning solutions.
• Support supply planning processes including:
  
  • Supply balancing
  • Inventory planning
  • Capacity planning
  • Constraint-based planning
  • Deployment and replenishment planning
• Perform system configuration validation, testing, defect resolution, and deployment support.
• Participate in solution design workshops and provide recommendations based on industry best practices.
• Ensure data accuracy and alignment across planning models and master data structures.
• Support SIT/UAT activities and production go-live support.
• Mentor junior consultants and guide team members on configuration best practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of overall experience in Supply Chain Planning and enterprise planning solutions.
• Minimum 3+ years of mandatory hands-on experience with the planning platform.
• Strong expertise in Supply Planning processes and configurations.
• Experience in configuring planning workflows, supply policies, and planning hierarchies in the platform.
• Strong understanding of:

  • Demand-supply matching
  • Constraint-based planning
  • Planning master data structures
• Ability to work with cross-functional and client-facing teams.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with ERP integrations such as SAP ECC/S4HANA, APO, or IBP.
• Exposure to SQL, data analysis, or integration concepts.
• Experience working in Agile project environments.
