Job summary

Michelin France in Pune, India seeks an experienced R2R Cash & Bank Analyst to support group and local accounting cycles. You will handle layout, entry, verification, control, and quality of accounting transactions, ensuring compliance with group referentials and local laws, and timely financial statements.

The role requires performing daily cash & bank accounting, posting journal entries, completing reconciliations, and assisting auditors to ensure accurate closing and reporting.

Responsibilities

• R2R Cash & Bank Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate accounting & reconciliation of cash & bank transactions, maintaining financial integrity, and supporting timely month-end & year-end closing activities.
• Performing daily accounting of cash & bank transactions. Prepare and post journal entries related to cash and banking activities. Complete daily, weekly, & monthly bank reconciliations and resolve outstanding reconciling items.
• Compliance of GL entries and transactions with Group and local norms, function allocation rules and standard processes.
• Accounts reconciliation and justification before reviewers, internal and external auditors and internal controllers.
• Closing transactions, program and reporting operated in compliance with closing deadlines and quality level expected.

Job description

MISSION : The accountant assists the Accounting Manager or the Accounting Cycle Analyst with Group and local norms accounting activities. He/She handles layout, entry, verification, control, quality and consistency of accounting transactions and accounts within his/her remit. He/She ensures these activities comply with Group referentials and relevant country's legislation and such information is available within prescribed deadlines for preparation of financial statements.
