Job summary

Ambit Arcadia Alternatives LLP is seeking a Compliance Officer in GIFT City to manage regulatory compliance for AIF operations. The role requires a CS or LLB with at least 3 years of experience and familiarity with IFSCA/SEBI guidelines.

You will oversee AML/CFT practices, internal audits, and coordination with trustees, custodians, and fund administrators while ensuring timely regulatory reporting and accurate data submission.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Institutions* (3 years is must as per IFSCA Regulations).
• Stay updated with the latest laws, regulations, and guidelines issued by SEBI and IFSCA for AIFs.
• Regulatory reporting and monitoring: prepare and submit accurate regulatory reports as required by SEBI and IFSCA.
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of data submitted in these reports.
• Establish and maintain a system for ongoing monitoring of compliance activities related to AIF operations.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance or potential risks; implement remedial measures.
• Managing Internal Audits
• AML/CFT compliance and monitoring
• Coordination with Trustee/ Custodian/ Fund Administrator/ Internal Operations team
• Review/drafting of legal agreements

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify non-compliance or risks and implement remedial measures.
• Coordinate with Trustees, Custodians, Fund Administrators, and internal teams to ensure compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal agreements related to AIF operations.
• Maintain monitoring systems for ongoing compliance with IFSCA/SEBI requirements.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports accurately and on time.
• Oversee AML/CFT compliance and ongoing monitoring of controls.
