Job summary

Ascensus is seeking an experienced professional in retirement plan recordkeeping/administration to lead compliance testing, trust accounting and Form 5500 activities for US-based clients. The role requires strong project management, leadership, and client communication.

Ideal candidates will have ASPPA certification or equivalent, ability to monitor census data, develop SLAs, identify control gaps, and drive organizational change while maintaining timely reporting and high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in retirement plan recordkeeping/administration.
• Knowledge of IRS and Department of Labor.
• Expert knowledge of compliance testing, trust accounting, and Form 5500.
• ASPPA certification or equivalent preferred.
• Monitor census information through Compliance Tests, Trust Accounting and Form 5500 reporting.
• Strong leadership, management and supervisory skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Develop SLAs and lead process development and improvement.
• Identify root causes and control gaps; strong change management skills.
• Proven project management skills; problem-solving capability.
• Flexible with day/night shifts as business requires.

Responsibilities

• Monitor receipt of census information through completion of compliance tests.
• Oversee trust accounting and Form 5500 reporting for timely client delivery.
• Develop SLAs and lead process improvement initiatives.
• Identify root causes and implement control enhancements.
