Job summary

Ascensus in Hyderabad is seeking a Manager-Compliance with 12–20 years of experience to oversee regulatory testing, trust accounting and Form 5500 reporting for retirement plans.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving, and reconciliation knowledge, with flexibility for day/night shifts and a leadership capability to supervise a compliance team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Reconciliation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor census information to completion of Compliance Tests, Trust Accounting and Form 5500 reporting to clients on time.
• Experience in retirement plan recordkeeping/administration with knowledge of IRS and DOL.
• Lead the design and delivery of a portfolio of Compliance tests to monitor regulatory compliance and internal policy.
• Expert knowledge of Compliance Testing, Trust Accounting and Form 5500 for 401K plans and administration.
• Preferably ASPPA certified or equivalent.
• Conduct test checks and reviews – Quarterly/Semi-annual/Annual.
• Demonstrate leadership, management, and direct supervisory skills.

We have loans and distributions, Compliance (DC) and Defined Benefit Process in India currently. We are also looking to grow in other departments as well.

Roles & Responsibility:

• Monitor receipt of Census information to completion of Compliance Tests, Trust Accounting and Form 5500 reporting and being delivered to client on a timely basis.
• Experience in retirement plan recordkeeping/administration with knowledge of IRS and Department of Labor.
• Lead the design and delivery of a portfolio of Compliance tests to monitor compliance with Regulation and internal policy
• Expert knowledge of Compliance Testing, Trust Accounting and Form 5500 of 401K plans and administration.
• Preferably ASPPA certified or equivalent.
• Conducting test checks/ testing reviews – Quarterly/Semi-annual / Annual basis
• Proven leadership, management, and direct supervisory skills.
• High level written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Develop SLAs, lead process development and improvement
• Understanding root cause / identifying control breaks
• Implementation and Organizational Change Management skills

Education and experience:

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance/Accounting background
• Proven track record of working effectively in flexible work environment in a result-oriented approach

Skill Requirement:

• Should have communication skills, Problem solving and analytical skills
• Basic MS Office knowledge and preference to good working knowledge of Excel
• Must be able to adapt the assignments quickly
• Flexibility in work culture (She/he should be flexible in Day/Night shift based on business requirement)
