We're seeking a Compensation Manager to act as the subject matter expert and lead for compensation programs across India, APAC, and Japan. In this high-impact role, you'll own regional compensation analysis, drive execution of key programs, and influence strategy — partnering directly with HR Business Partners, COEs, People Services, Finance, and business leaders. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you'll take general direction from management and independently drive complex, unstructured projects through to completion.
Market pricing, benchmarking, salary structures, and pay recommendations across India, APAC, and Japan, using external surveys to assess competitiveness and anticipate trends. Solve complex compensation problems using broad expertise and independent judgment; recommend best practices that improve processes and policies. Lead internal and pay equity analyses, surfacing risks and insights to leadership; contribute to future compensation strategy.
Own regional execution of annual merit, bonus, and equity/LTI cycles, partnering with Workday Team and People Services to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Serve as the primary compensation partner for local markets, accounting for statutory requirements, local practices, and cultural nuances. Advise on compensation for new hires, promotions, internal moves, and organizational changes.
Maintain data integrity within Workday; build and enhance reports, dashboards, and analytical tools. Drive process improvement through automation and standardization. Ensure adherence to global compensation policies, governance standards, and local requirements, with sound documentation and audit trails.
Serve as an SME on — and where appropriate, lead — global compensation and Total Rewards projects, contributing regional expertise and helping drive consistent, scalable solutions beyond the region. Other Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support evolving business and Total Rewards needs.
