Job summary

Dewan P N Chopra & Co invites a Company Secretary to join our Regulatory Division to provide guidance on Companies Act 2013, NBFC laws and SEBI regulations for diverse corporate clients. You will execute advisory assignments and assist with compliance matters.

Ideal candidates have strong drafting and analytical skills, updated knowledge of the relevant laws, and excellent communication for client interactions in a fast-growing, meritocracy-driven firm.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulatory advisory and compliance for corporate clients.
• Strong drafting and analytical skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Companies Act 2013 and NBFC laws.

Responsibilities

• Incorporation of Companies, LLPs, JVs, Branch Offices and Liaison offices in India.
• Assist and advise for regulatory approvals from relevant authorities.
• Provide advisory opinions on matters under Companies Act 2013/LLP Act.
• Assist and advise for reviewing compliances under the Companies Act 2013/LLP Act.
• Advisory support for NBFC laws and regulatory filings.

Come join our Regulatory Division to provide high quality guidance on complex regulatory frameworks to mid to large corporate clients from diverse industries. As a key member of the Regulatory Division, the selected candidate shall be engaged in executing advisory assignments for reputed clients across diverse industries pertaining to the Companies Act 2013, NBFC laws and SEBI Regulations.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

Advisory and Assistance under Companies Act, 2013 / LLP Act

• Incorporation of Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships, Joint Ventures, Branch Offices, Project Offices and Liaison offices in India.


• Assistance and advise for obtaining regulatory approvals from relevant authorities.


• Advisory and Opinions on matters related to Companies Act, 2013/ LLP Act.


• Assistance and Advise for reviewing compliances under the Companies Act, 2013/ LLP Act.

Advisory and Assistance for NBFCs laws

• Handle RBI-related compliances applicable to NBFCs and Fintech entities.


• Coordinate with compliance, legal, and finance teams for timely regulatory filings and disclosures.


• Track changes in laws, RBI circulars, and regulatory guidelines impacting Fintech/NBFC operations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• We seek a Company Secretary with a keen interest and relevant experience in regulatory advisory and compliance matters.


• Strong academic background with sound analytical and drafting skills.


• In depth, updated knowledge of applicable laws specifically Companies Act 2013 and NBFC laws


• Excellent communication, drafting and presentation skills, particularly in relation to client interactions.
