is seeking a senior professional to advise UHNIs, family offices, and promoters on estate planning, succession, and family governance. The role sits within our Transaction Tax team delivering end-to-end tax and regulatory solutions for M&A and restructuring projects. The candidate should have 6+ years of relevant experience in a reputed CA firm, law firm, or large corporate, with strong client engagement and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant or LLB with at least 6 years of experience in Estate Planning, Succession Planning and Private Client Advisory.

Responsibilities

• Advise on tax and regulatory aspects of M&A and funding transactions, domestic and international.
• Advise on business restructuring strategies in succession planning and promoter/family business reorganizations.
• Structure and execute mergers, demergers, slump sales and corporate restructuring as part of estate and family planning.
• Work closely with other teams to implement integrated restructuring and succession solutions.

As part of our senior team, you will play a key role in advising Ultra High-Net-Worth Individuals (UHNIs), Family Offices, Promoters and Business Families on matters relating to Estate Planning, Succession Planning and Family Governance etc.

Our Transaction Tax team provides end-to-end solutions for addressing Tax and Regulatory requirements in matters of M&A Transactions. Our service offering encompasses a broad range including Family Settlements, Succession Planning, Tax Restructuring, Merger, Demergers, Slump Sales, Acquisition, Transaction Advisory, and more. Our team comprises of expert professionals who have in-depth experience in executing deals and transactions for leading business houses in India, MNCs, UNHIs, some of the largest Family Offices in the country.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

Client Engagement & Delivery

• Advise on tax and regulatory aspects of M&A and funding transactions. This includes both domestic and international transactions.
• Advise on business restructuring strategies in the context of succession planning and promoter/family business reorganizations for domestic and cross border matters.
• Structure and execute transactions involving Mergers, Demergers, Slump Sales, Business Transfers and Corporate Restructuring as part of estate, succession and family business planning assignments.
• Work closely with other teams to implement integrated restructuring and succession solutions.

People Development & Knowledge Sharing

• Manage & mentor your team; mobilize and inspire them to meet allocated deliverables and attract new talent pool for this division.
• Create an environment to enhance camaraderie, promote Firms culture, core values and ethics.
• Identify, adapt and adopt relevant technology & tools to continuously learn, innovate and enhance service delivery.
• Continuously build and update the Firms knowledge pool across service offerings, while promoting thought leadership, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement in learning and development initiatives across the Firm.

To qualify for this role, you must have:

Requisite Qualification & Experience:

Qualified Chartered Accountant or LLB with at least 6 years of experience in Estate Planning, Succession Planning and Private Client Advisory at reputed Consulting / CA firms /Law Firms/ Large Corporates.

Requisite Skills & Attributes for Success

We seek a candidate with in-depth experience in the above services. Preference shall be given to candidates who possess:

• Strong practical experience in Estate & Succession Planning assignments.
• Sound understanding of Trusts, Wills, Family Settlements, Family Constitutions and Private Client Structures.
• Exposure to advising HNIs, UHNIs, Family Offices and Promoter-led businesses
• Ability to independently manage client engagements and multiple assignments simultaneously
• Excellent communication, personality and presentation skills, especially related to Client Interactions including with leadership level.
• Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
