Responsibilities

  • College Community Development: onboard colleges, build engagement plans, run activities and webinars.

  • Business Development Through Community: generate leads, partnerships, and revenue opportunities.
  • Events & Student Engagement: organize college events, webinars, and sessions.
  • Relationship Management: maintain regular contact with college representatives and stakeholders.
  • Reporting & Performance Tracking: maintain databases, track KPIs, and report progress.

Community Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Community Manager who will be responsible for driving business growth through community-led initiatives. The role will focus on building and managing communities across colleges, developing strong relationships with college stakeholders, creating Campus Ambassador Programs, and converting community engagement into business opportunities.

The ideal candidate should be energetic, excellent at communication and relationship building, and comfortable working directly with colleges, students, faculty members, and student communities.

Key Responsibilities
1. College Community Development
  • Identify and onboard colleges to build institutional/student communities.
  • Establish relationships with college authorities, faculty members, placement cells, student clubs, and societies.
  • Develop college-specific community engagement plans.
  • Conduct regular activities, webinars, workshops, seminars, and student engagement programs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with onboarded colleges to ensure continued engagement.
2. Campus Ambassador Program
  • Develop and execute the Campus Ambassador Program across colleges.
  • Identify, recruit, train, and manage student ambassadors.
  • Set targets and activities for campus ambassadors.
  • Build a network of high-performing student ambassadors across colleges.
  • Track ambassador performance, engagement, referrals, and leads generated.
  • Create incentives and engagement activities to improve ambassador productivity.
3. Business Development Through Community
  • Generate qualified leads and business opportunities through college communities.
  • Identify opportunities for courses, institutional partnerships, workshops, webinars, and other offerings.
  • Convert community relationships into measurable business outcomes.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to convert leads generated through communities.
  • Maintain a regular pipeline of colleges, student communities, ambassadors, and potential partnerships.
4. Events & Student Engagement
  • Organize college-level events, webinars, competitions, workshops, and career/academic sessions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for speakers, content, marketing, and event execution.
  • Increase student participation and engagement within each college community.
  • Develop innovative activities to continuously keep communities active.
5. Relationship Management
  • Maintain regular communication with college representatives and student leaders.
  • Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Understand college/student requirements and identify opportunities for collaboration.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned college communities.
6. Reporting & Performance Tracking
  • Maintain a database of colleges, contacts, ambassadors, students, and leads.
  • Track community growth, engagement, events, leads, conversions, and revenue contribution.
  • Submit weekly/monthly performance reports.
  • Monitor KPIs and take corrective actions to achieve targets.

Preferred Candidate Profile
  • Experience in EdTech, Campus Engagement, Student Communities, B2B/B2C Business Development, or College Partnerships will be preferred.
  • Prior experience working with colleges, student clubs, Campus Ambassador Programs, or educational institutions is an advantage.
  • Should be highly proactive, energetic, and comfortable with field-level execution.
  • Candidates who have an existing understanding of college ecosystems and student networks will be preferred.
What Success Looks Like

The Community Executive should build a large and active college ecosystem that continuously generates student engagement, leads, partnerships, and business opportunities.

This is not a purely community-management role. The position has a strong Business Development component, where community building is used as a channel for generating and converting business opportunities.
