Job summary

Black Box in Mumbai seeks an IBMS/BMS commissioning professional to manage end-to-end projects from design to handover. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams on site. The role requires 2–5 years of hands-on experience with BMS software, HVAC and ELV systems, and knowledge of LAN/WAN and TCP/IP.

Travel across projects and on-site or online support is expected. Education: Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation engineering; IBMS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation engineering.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in IBMS/BMS commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of BMS software, HVAC, ELV systems, and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN, and TCP/IP, including IP addressing.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities and good site coordination communication.
• Travel involved; willing to travel across projects and provide on-site/online support as required.
• Candidate certified in Honeywell /Siemens/Schneider/easy IO or IBMS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project completion within time, cost, and quality parameters.
• Supervise site engineers and subcontractors at project sites.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation
• Manage issue resolution, change management, and risk mitigation.
• Support project closure activities.

• System Testing & Commissioning: Testing and validating HVAC, lighting, fire safety, CCTV, and access control systems to meet performance standards.
• Integration: Integrating third-party subsystems using protocols like BACnet and Modbus (TCP/RTU) to create a unified dashboard.
• Field Device Configuration: Programming and verifying DI/DO/AI/AO modules, PLC logic, and SCADA/HMI graphics.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation engineering.
